            12/14/2020 - Impending Snow Storm
            The National Weather Service is forecasting a significant snowstorm to impact our area beginning late afternoon on Wednesday, December 16th through Thursday.
            Winter Storm Gail is expected to bring heavy, wet, accumulating snow and strong gusting winds. Power outages and travel disruptions are expected. Please remove all vehicles from the street once roadways become snow covered to allow for curb-to-curb plowing operations. When clearing driveways and sidewalks, please do not throw snow into the street.
            A Code Blue Alert has been issued for Monmouth County starting Monday, December 14th at 6:00 pm through 8:00 am Sunday, December 20th. A code blue alert is issued when temperatures fall below freezing and conditions pose a threat to individuals who are homeless. Please prepare for the effects of this storm by monitoring weather reports, checking food and other essential supplies.
            Anyone needing to relocate to a warming station is asked to contact the Aberdeen Police Department for assistance at (732) 566-2054. Any power outages should be reported directly to Jersey Central Power and Light at 1-888-544-487. Remember, never go near or touch downed wires, downed wires should be reported to JCP&L and the Aberdeen Police Department.
