With regard to COVID-19, the following procedures should be followed if you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and have developed a fever and symptoms, such as cough or difficulty breathing.
First, you should call your primary physician or healthcare provider for medical advice. If you do not have a physician, call a local walk-in medical facility If you believe that you should go to the hospital, please call ahead to the hospital. If you believe that your condition is severe, dial 9-1-1 or call the Aberdeen Police at (732)566-2054. DO NOT go to your doctor’s office or the hospital unannounced. It is important that you make these facilities aware of your condition so, they have time to prepare for your visit.

Secondly, Aberdeen Township OEM maintains a Special Needs Registry designed to identify residents who may be in need of assistance during man-made or natural disasters. Residents can register for this program in one of four ways:

• call toll free 2-1-1
• visit aberdeennj.qscend.com under the police tab, click on Special Needs Registry.
• call the Aberdeen Municipal Building at (732) 583-4200 and request a registration form to be sent to you.
