Parking Rules - Aberdeen Train Station
Stalls #’s 1-210: Stalls are striped with yellow paint and yellow numbers. These spaces are available on a first come first serve basis. Payment of $3.00 a day is required from 6:00am
to 5:00pm the next day (overnight).
Daily stalls 1-210 can be reserved and paid for up to five (5) days at a time. Note: On weekend days and legal holidays parking is free.
Permit Parking Stall #’s 400-866 are striped with white paint and white numbers requiring an
Aberdeen Township Parking Permit issued by Aberdeen Township.
Parking is available in the white spaces #401-866 to non-permit holders only after 10:00am at a charge of $3.00, and can only be used until 6:00am the next day. Payment is required to use the spot or a parking permit issued by Aberdeen township must be visible from your vehicle.
With the new hangtag permits, cars can now be parked either facing in or out. Permits must be visible at all times.
Permit holders annually receive a directive on the permit placement and parking lot rules.
Failure to read and follow the directive could result in a summons. Take the
time to read all directives at the time of permit issuance to avoid a summons.
Handicapped Stalls #’s 233-255: Require a valid handicapped sticker issued by the Aberdeen
Township Police Department or handicapped license plates. Parking permit holders are not
Required to pay when using a handicapped parking space, but anyone using a handicapped
Parking space without a parking permit issued to them by Aberdeen township is required to
Pay the daily parking fee of $3.00. Frequent checks are made to assure the I.D. of the user.
A $250.00 fine plus a mandatory court appearance is required for improper use of a
handicapped space or use by unauthorized person or persons.
Free parking is available after 5:00pm in both white and yellow stalls, but the vehicle must
be out of the spot by 6:00am the next morning to avoid a summons.
Weekends/Holidays: Free parking is available in any spot on weekends and legal holidays until
6:00am on Monday. Payments must be made if you intend to pay for any days after a weekend
or holiday in multiple days from departure to return date. The maximum amount of days which can be paid for (yellow spaces only #’s 1-210 or #’s 233-255) is five (5) days. Example: If you intend to leave on a Friday and return on a Tuesday, you must use the yellow daily spots paying
for a total of 5 five days. Permit spaces cannot be used in a long term manner.
Summons Issuance Advisory: If you have received a summons, follow the instructions on
back of the ticket. Police Dispatchers- Court Personnel- Issuing Officers cannot mediate
summonses. If you wish to plead not guilty, you must contact court personnel at (732)
583-4200 extensions 105 or 141. A not guilty appearance requires a mandatory appearance
before the judge in Aberdeen Municipal Court. Court days are Wednesdays only, beginning
at 9:00am.
Renewals: Permits not re-new in a timely fashion will be subjected to fines and or forfeited as per the Township Ordinance.
PARKING RULES- AMF BOWLING CENTER- STRATHMORE SHOPPING CENTER
SHOPRITE AND BECHSTEIN DRIVE
The Township Leases 100 parking spaces from AMF Bowling Center at the Strathmore Shopping Center on Route #34 in Aberdeen. Also 51 spaces on Bechstein Drive and 26 spaces at the Shoprite parking lot. The parking spots are numbered and require an Aberdeen Township Parking Permit given by Aberdeen Township. These spaces are available on a first come first serve basis.

Please be made aware that if at any time there is an address change during the course of the year, it is the responsibility of the parking permit holder to notify Mrs. Margie Incle the Mass Transit Secretary of said address change prior to the mailing of her parking permit renewal notices.
